I have just noticed that YouTube have added a few small features to make everything a little bit better.
YouTube progress barHovering over a place in the progress bar will show a balloon with the time on it, which can help with finding previous times easier.
Have you ever noticed that when you display the video in full screen with regular SD videos, the controls seem to be scaled up and pixelated. It is now nice and sharp like with HD videos 
This saves a bit of room so the videos can take up just about all of the screen estate.
YouTube balloonThe information bubbles are now more sleeker looking. Hover over a button such as "HQ" (high quality) and it will show a rounded black bubble with a shadow. This certainly makes it look much better.
Really, I would like the controls to be able to disappear when you put it into full screen. It looks so much better, and it will look especially good when you use YouTube on your TV with your computer.
