this player is a cool tool to watch just like vlc media player. although vlc is mostly used on video, the flexibility of Audacious must also adopt on a compatibility issues such as on ipod product and new format playing.

Still love Archos
I've had a number of music players in my day but I have to say that I still love my old Archos Jukebox. Even after my iPod up and died on me, that Archos still works like a champ!

Joe, I have to agree with you. We have several different portable media players as my husband is a gadgets hound, but the Archos is our favorite. It was the first media device that we purchased, and it has certainly out lasted several that we have purchased since then. Go Archos!

After trying many, many music
After trying many, many music players for Linux (Amarok, Exaile, Banshee, mpd + Sonata, Rhythmbox, Audacious, Quod Libet, and many more) I could not find anything to replace Foobar2000. So I installed Wine and foobar2k and have never looked back!
